FRYEBURG — Round 1 in the diamond rivalry between Fryeburg Academy and Lake Region goes to the Raiders. FA got another sensational starting pitching effort from sophomore Oliver Dean and used timely hitting to blank the Lakers 6-0 at Vincent Manoriti ‘85 Memorial Baseball Field on Monday.
The win lifted the Raiders to 8-1 on the season and kept them atop the Class B South standings.
