The new Irving Mainway station across from the Green Granite Inn on Route 16 in North Conway is scheduled to open today.The 3,500-square-foot gas station/convenience store replaces the Irving station adjacent to the Mountain Valley Car Wash. An in-house bakery will offer breads, muffins and pastries. There will also be an Amato's Express, although Amato's is expected to open at a later date.Developer is OVP Management Inc., the development and management company for Settlers' Green Outlet Village. Additional retail space is also planned for the site, with construction scheduled to begin this fall.
