In this interview, Conway Daily Sun Publisher Mark Guerringue talks with Steve Duprey, a native of North Conway, who settled in Concord where for decades he has played an important role in Republican politics. He is also a major developer of hospitality and commercial properties. This interview has been edited for length and clarity. The full interview can be seen at conwaydailysun.com, or check listings of Valley Vision.

Mark Guerringue: I was trying to come up with a description of you and realized it’s a long list: North Conway native. You were a state rep at 19, chaired the N.H. GOP off and on for years, worked in national politics, helped create the CDFA tax credit program for non-profits, chaired the Pease Development Authority, and you’ve been involved with the Capital Center for the Arts — plus you’re a developer. You did Saco Woods here, right?
