Ford recently made an announcement that is a bit of a gamble considering the dramatic slowdown in electric vehicle development and sales by American automakers.

The current administration has turned up the heat on derailing electric vehicle mandates by promoting legacy energy and power sources. This pressure has put vehicle manufacturers in a bit of a quandary considering the billions of dollars already invested in what looked to be the near-future of the automotive industry. Some have scaled back on EVs while others have pushed out the timeline to displace internal combustion engines.
