The winds of change are howling across the American automotive landscape and cars are being swept away. The latest to fall is the Chevrolet Malibu, bringing Chevy’s gas-powered car offerings to just one, the Corvette, now that the Camaro’s production is due to end this year.

Ford, too, has one gas powered car in their lineup; the Mustang. Stellantis, parent corporation of Chrysler and Dodge is focusing on its RAM line of trucks with a couple minivans thrown in. Their impressive muscle cars will eventually be back with controversial electric motors, rather than Hemi power plants. Hot rodders used to say there’s no substitute for cubic inches, but I guess we’ll find out.
