CONWAY — The plan for building housing units behind the Birchmont resort was well-received by members of the Conway Planning Board at their Aug. 14 meeting; however, due to concerns about possible visual impact of the development along North-South Road, the board scheduled a site visit for Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. prior to their 6 p.m. meeting at Conway Town Hall.

The board scheduled the site visit after discussing the new conceptual plan with project engineer/principal Ian MacKinnon of Jones & Beach Engineers, Inc. of Stratham last Thursday.
