FRYEBURG, Maine, and GORHAM — Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals, with locations in Fryeburg, Maine and Gorham, has been chosen by Polaris Adventures as a premier certified outfitter in their fast-growing nationwide rental program.

As the first-ever network of ride and drive experiences, Polaris Adventures brings together select rental locations to provide safe, memorable, year-round adventures in state-of-the-art Polaris vehicles.

Outfitters, like Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals, that are part of this exclusive network of local adventure experts are accepted into the Polaris Adventures program based on experience, adherence to best practices, high scores in customer satisfaction, and commitment to safety and ethics.

Only a small number of outfitters are recognized as a premier certified outfitter each year, the highest designation.

“A premier certified outfitter represents the best of the best,” said Gray Rentz, Polaris Adventures director. “Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals consistently goes out of their way to uphold all premium practices and processes we expect in the program and strives to offer the best possible experience for guests.”

Polaris Adventures Outfitters receive a new fleet of Polaris vehicles every season, equipped with the latest technology to maximize the experience. Outfitters are held to the highest standards to preserve ride destinations and communities for generations to come.

“Sarah and I could not be prouder of our staff at both of our locations for this wonderful achievement, without their dedication to the customers’ experience, this milestone could not have been reached. Our general manager, Evan Thurlow, and our Gorham location manager, Troy Giles, have both done an outstanding job,” said owner Terry MacGillivray.

About Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals:

Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals started in 2001 as Evans Notch Snowmobile Rentals in Stow, Maine, by its founders Sarah and Terry MacGillivray.

In 2002, the MacGillivray’s moved the business to Main Street in Fryeburg and changed the name to Fryeburg Snowmobile Rentals.

In 2007, due to a lack of snow they started renting in Gorham as well. Shortly thereafter, they started renting Side by Sides and they once again changed the name, this time to Northeast Snowmobile and ATV Rentals.

This winter, the business purchased the old Laconia Savings Bank in Gorham and will be moving into its new digs at 177 Main St. this sumner.

“We outgrew our parking and work space at 325 Main St., and feel that the Gorham market is primed for business and vacation travels, the State Of New Hampshire is committed to the outdoor enthusiast and power sports industry,” said MacGillivray.
