CONWAY — Their 11th annual North Country Cares Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway returns to the parking lot of First Church of Christ, Congregational in North Conway on Friday, Aug. 8, from 4-6 p.m., when more than 250 backpacks full of school supplies will be handed out for free.
Meanwhile, the demand is up higher than ever for the stylish, no-cost clothing offered at the Revolving Closet, the pre-teen and teen boutique celebrating its 10-year anniversary, said North Country Cares executive director Emily Smith-Mossman and board president Holly Sares, both of North Conway.
