CONWAY — For Mark Ross-Parent, owner and head baker at North Conway’s Old Village Bakery, baking is a passion. And that certainly helps when you get up at 3 a.m. to bake bread daily.

For the past 17 years, Old Village Bakery has grown from its humble beginnings in 2002, when Mark, with wife, Susan, and their two young children in tow, would arrive to bake two different kinds of bread and scones.
