CONWAY — This will be remembered as a season of frustration for the Kennett High football team and its fans. The Eagles finished their season with a 4-5 record, but were just five points away from a 7-2 record.

The hometown flock started its season on the road with a 9-6 overtime loss at Manchester West, and wrapped it up at home in Gary Millen Stadium, losing the Carroll County Championship Game to rivals Kingswood 13-12 in overtime.
