CONWAY — A blue tsunami on Tuesday changed the political landscape not only across the nation and New Hampshire, but also in Carroll County. Just as the Democrats gained control of both branches of Congress, winning the Senate and the House, the same happened in the Granite State. Republicans lost their hold on the House, the Senate, and the Executive Council, which for the first time will feature an entirely Democratic council.

Conway set a record for voting in a midterm election with 4,512 ballots cast, including 668 absentee ballots. The previous record, set in 2022, saw 4,391 ballots cast, including 685 by absentee.
