CONWAY — Pope Memorial Library is pleased to announce a new art exhibit featuring the vibrant work of White Mountains artist Kirsten MacLeay Dickson, whose distinctive style celebrates the landscapes, history and character of northern New Hampshire.
A lifelong artist based in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, Dickson is known throughout the region for her bold use of color and design. In addition to creating commissioned paintings, murals, signs, and logos, she has become especially recognized for transforming reclaimed wooden doors into striking works of art and for creating detailed maps that weave together local history and folklore. Her public artwork can be found at businesses and community spaces across New Hampshire, including Rek-lis Brewing Co., Loon Mountain, Dartmouth College and the Bethlehem Public Library.
