CONWAY — What started during COVID-19 as a way for neighbors to safely gather while socially distancing, enjoying each other's company, and sampling a wide range of chili has now become an annual event each fall for residents of Hillside and Muster avenues. Residents here hosted their seventh annual Chili Cookoff on Oct. 24.

“We had a beautiful afternoon and got to meet some of our new neighbors. We had seven chilis, four sides, and nine dessert entries,” said Jen McCracken, one of the event organizers since its infancy in 2019.
