CONWAY — With the arrival of December comes M&D Playhouse’s annual production of “A Christmas Carol,” which opened Thursday at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse in North Conway and will be performed Thursday through Sunday for the next three weeks.
Each year, M&D performs a different variation of the classic story of the redemption of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge. This year’s adaptation is by Michael Wilson and purports to put “the phantasmagoric qualities of Charles Dickens’ classic tale center stage.”
