M&D's 'Christmas Carol' spreads holiday cheer

Dan Tetreault as Ebenezer Scrooge with Cody Mitchell Tessier as Tiny Tim in M&D Productions production of "A Christmas Carol" at Your Theatre in North Conway.

CONWAY — M&D Productions is getting into the Christmas spirit with a new production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" which opened Thursday, Dec. 11, and is playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. for the next two weeks at Your Theatre, located at 1857 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.

This is a straightforward, unironic adaptation by Cora Wilson Greenwood of Dickens' holiday classic. Penny-pincher curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge (Dan Tetreault) is given a chance to change his way by the ghosts of Christmas past (Elaine Kondrat), present (Sarah Tetreault) and yet to come (Gregory Charette).
