BROWNFIELD, Maine — Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield welcomes Donna the Buffalo on Friday for a special club-style show that will have the chairs pushed back and leave plenty of room for dancing.

For more than 35 years, Donna the Buffalo has been bringing its unique blend of roots rock, folk, country, reggae, Cajun and zydeco to audiences across the country. Founded by Tara Nevins and Jeb Puryear, in Trumansburg, N.Y., the band has built a loyal following known as “The Herd” and has become one of the most enduring touring bands in American roots music.
