Alison Brie-GLOW

Alison Brie as Zoya the Destroya in the Netfix series "GLOW." (COURTESY OF NETFLIX)

The second season of Netflix’s “GLOW” is insanely binge-able. My wife and I polished off the 10 30-minute episodes in two sittings (it would’ve been one if we hadn’t started watching so late).

“GLOW,” which stands for Glamorous Ladies of Wrestling, is a fictionalized look at the making of a real female wrestling show in the 1980s. The real “GLOW” was kitschy and campy, but the show about it is surprisingly character driven and relevant.
