CONWAY — White Birch Books is looking forward to a spooky afternoon with Susanna Hargreaves as she debuts her new book, “The Ghostly Tales of New Hampshire’s White Mountains.” The book is the newest edition in the Ghostly Tales series and Hargreaves will be at the bookstore on Saturday from 3-4 p.m. to share stories and sign copies.
Ghosts lurk around every corner and even the most unexpected places might be haunted by wandering phantoms! That is the premise of the new entry in the Ghostly Tales series designed for younger readers but fun for the whole family, written to encourage a love for history, folklore, and storytelling all with a ghostly flare. Spanning all of the White Mountains, these stories also include a couple of local spots, including the Conway Historical Society and Moat Mountain Smokehouse and Brewery — oh my!
