FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Academy and Coach Bill Reilly are noted for producing strong runners and most particularly, cross-country athletes. From FA Class of 2016 alone, two ex-Raiders, Anna Lastra and Patrick Carty, made strong marks on the collegiate cross-country scene this fall, and another, Emily Carty, ’18, shows promise to advance up the collegiate ranks after a respectable freshman season.

Stonehill College Junior Anna Lastra, a 5'1" runner from Bridgton, Maine, has made great impact amongst the top runners in NCAA Division II. Lastra's early season provided no indication of how high she would excel by season's end.
