CONWAY — New Hampshire high school football will undergo a major facelift in 2013 and that new look will see the number of divisions dramatically reduced from six to three with Kennett High moving into a 20 school division next fall. With New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Executive Director R. Patrick Corbin delivering the news in August, the NHIAA unveiled the new layout, which will do away with the current six-division format. Instead, for the first time since 1993, the schools will be split into three divisions, based on enrollment size.

The changes made by the NHIAA are anything but subtle and it will make winning a state championship all the more difficult. After this season the number of divisions will be reduced from six to three, and there will be four conferences in each division. Each conference will have either four or five teams.
