PORTLAND — The Fryeburg boys’ basketball team saw its season come to a close at the hands of eventual state champs, No. 2 ranked Falmouth on Feb. 19 63-36 in the Class A semifinals at the Expo in Portland, Maine.

The loss was a bit of a surprise after No. 6 Fryeburg defeated No. 3 Greely in the first round 51-31 on Feb. 15. Fans who followed the Raiders closely throughout the season saw a team that developed impressively finding their roles and excelling as a unit.
