CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ and girls’ cross-country ski teams opened 2019 just as they closed 2018 — on a winning note. The Eagles took team honors on Thursday in a freestyle (skate) race at Great Glen Trails.

The skiers found first-rate racing conditions at the top of Pinkham Notch in the season-opening race for most schools.
