CONWAY — The Kennett High girls’ alpine team found the slopes at Gunstock Ski Area in Gilford to its liking on Friday. The Eagles swept the the top five spots in slalom and top four places in giant slalom to the team honors in the eight-school meet. The KHS boys won the slalom and were second to Plymouth in the GS, but came out on top by a point for the overall win.

Individually, Kennett senior Connor Glavin continued his winning ways by skiing away from the field to win the GS and the slalom races. Senior Eva Drummond won the slalom to lead the Eagles, while teammate Skylar Sayers captured first in the GS with the two fastest runs of the afternoon.
