CONWAY — While it doesn’t seem like spring has arrived yet, the spring sports season should officially open on Thursday when the Kennett High boys’ and girls’ tennis teams are in action.

After two weeks of preseason, the Eagles, who were rained out on Wednesday, will hit the courts outside for matches that count. The KHS girls are scheduled to travel to Pembroke for a 4 p.m. match, while the boys will host the Spartans in the Jon C. Judge Tennis Park at 4 p.m.
