MADISON — The Kennett High alpine team ventured to its home away from home — King Pine Ski Area In East Madison — on Friday and ran into some stiff competition. The KHS boys were second out of five schools with Portsmouth turning in a strong salmon performance for the win while the Kingswood girls built a lead in the GS and held off the girls from Conway.
For the boys, Portsmouth edged Kennett 765-762, followed by host Kingswood, 709; Plymouth, 704; and Oyster River, 680.
