BELMONT — The Kennett High track team opened its season on a good note at the Belmont Invitational last Friday in Belmont. The KHS boys topped 10 other schools to win the meet, while the girls from Conway were seventh out of 12 schools.

“All in all it was a great first meet,” said Bernie Livingston, Eagles’ head coach. “I was surprised how well we did compared to other teams. I know we are nowhere near ready to compete to the best of our abilities.”
