FRYEBURG — At the Western Maine Conference Alpine Championships last Wednesday at Shawnee Peak, Brooke Juneau posted three of the fastest four runs on the day to lead the Fryeburg Academy girls' alpine team to second place in the giant slalom and fourth place in the slalom.

Juneau lost her one second lead over Lake Region's Paige Davis in the second run of the slalom race to finish third in 1:53.24. Davis' winning two-run time was 1:50.47.
