CONWAY — The Majestic Theatre presents its second film in the Alfred Hitchcock series, the definitive suspense thriller, "Rear Window," on Friday at 7 p.m. Often cited as one of the greatest films ever made, this cinematic event offers audiences the rare opportunity to experience the tension and artistry of the Master of Suspense in a classic theater setting.
Released in 1954, "Rear Window" stars Jimmy Stewart as L.B. "Jeff" Jefferies, a professional photographer confined to a wheelchair in his Greenwich Village apartment during a blistering summer heatwave. To pass the time, Jeff begins observing his neighbors through his window, only to become convinced he has witnessed a murder. Alongside Grace Kelly, who delivers an iconic performance as his sophisticated socialite girlfriend, Lisa Carol Fremont, Stewart navigates a labyrinth of voyeurism, obsession, and escalating danger.
