Doucet nets hat trick

CONWAY — The Kennett High ice hockey team has clinched the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Division III playoffs.

The Eagles secured the top spot with two games left in the regular season with a 10-1 drubbing of Sanborn at the Rinks At Exeter in Exeter on Monday night. KHS, which outshot the Indians 53-17, scored five goals in the first and second periods and cruised to the victory.
