CONWAY — When the Division II playoffs tipoff next Monday, the Kennett High boys’ basketball will enter the postseason knowing it can play with the best teams in the state. Although the Eagles have come up short in meetings against the top three teams in ConVal, Bow and Hanover, the hometown flock would welcome the opportunity to take to the hardwood against any of these schools again.
Kennett, the No. 7 seed for the playoffs, gave No. 2 ranked Bow all it could handle on Friday night before falling 61-56. KHS outscored the Falcons 18-8 in the fourth-quarter but Bow was able to leave town with the win.
