CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ basketball team is still looking to get a signature win on its resume. The Eagles came oh-so-close in a pair of games last week. They led defending champs Pembroke Academy at halftime at home last Tuesday, but the Spartans showed their championship mettle in the second half and pulled away for a 66-51 victory.

On Friday, the boys from Conway went on the road and gave Bow all it could handle, but the Falcons were able to pull out a 54-52 victory.
