CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ tennis team battled the elements as well as three opponents last week, playing in rain, sunshine, wind and a few snow flurries. The hometown flock went 2-1 to boost overall season record to 3-2 in Division II.

KHS fell 8-1 to Portsmouth (5-1) at the Jon C. Judge Tennis Park on Tuesday; rebounded nicely with a 7-2 victory in Northwood over Coe-Brown Northwood Academy (1-5) on Wednesday, and wrapped up the week with a 9-0 dismantling of Berlin (0-3 in Division III) on Thursday.
