4-23-19 KHS softball

Kennett High senior captain Olivia Stewart delivers a powerful pitch during the game against Lebanon on April 22 at the Kennett Middle School field. The high school field was still not yet playable due to weather. The Eagles handled the Raiders 39-0 in a game that ended after Lebanon batted in the top of the fifth inning on the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association's 15-run mercy rule. Stewart, who pitched a one-hitter, also belted a home run and a triple while driving in seven runs in the win, which was the most lopsided victory in the Kennett softball program's history. CONWAY — There was no vacation time last week for the Kennett High softball team. While many of the spring sports teams at KHS were enjoying a relaxing spring recess, the softball Eagles had four games scheduled.

The Eagles outscored their opponents 53-14 in three games as they went 2-1 to improve to 3-3 overall on the season in Division II.
