Eagles are soaring and scoring

CONWAY — Kennett High field hockey is the lone undefeated team remaining in Division II heading into the final week of the regular season. The Eagles are three wins away from an undefeated season, but clearly, the bigger prize for the hometown flock is a state championship.

Kennett is on the verge of securing the top seed for the Division II playoffs, which would begin next week. If the Eagles win two of their final three games, they’ll be the No. 1 seed.
