CONWAY — The MWV Cal Ripken Baseball League will hold its Opening Day this Saturday, April 27 starting at 9 a.m. at the Whitaker Field. There will be some 250 players plus parents and friends for the event which will run for the entire day. In the past, there have been games on Opening Day and this year none are scheduled to accommodate the many activities during the entire day at Whitaker and John Fuller fields.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a parade featuring players and coaches plus Kennett High Varsity Baseball Coach Josh McAllister and KHS players who are graduates of Cal Ripken. Plus, many exciting guests.
