CONWAY — John Jantz of Arlington, Mass., won his second consecutive Crank the Kanc on Saturday, May 18, topping a field of more than 170 in the Kancamagus Highway bicycle hill climb.

Jantz, who races for Community Bicycle Racing, covered the 21.3-mile course in 1 hours, 28.78 seconds for the win. Last year, he finished in 58.24.36, just shy of the course record of 58.02.60 set in 2013 by Timothy Ahearn.
