BRIDGTON, Maine — The annual Joe Wikler Memorial Mixed Doubles Tournament took place at the Bridgton Highlands last Saturday, July 29. A talented field of 11 teams took to the courts to play.
Joe Wikler was a well-known tennis enthusiast and member at Bridgton Highlands and is fondly remembered for his tricky underarm spin serve. Court No. 2 at Bridgton Highlands was resurfaced in honor of Joe’s memory with a plaque on its entrance.
