brary marked the 125th anniversary of the library’s original dedication on its front steps. Despite noise from passing Harley-Davidsons, due to it being Laconia Motorcycle Week, attendees nonethless enjoyed the festivities.
The event drew nearly 100 people at 11 a.m., with Library Director Jeff Beavers serving as emcee. Other speakers included Assistant Library Director Tessa Narducci, Library Trustees Chair James Cousins, Conway Historical Society Executive Director Heather Corrigan and Conway Town Manager John Eastman, who shared memories of using the library as a kid growing up in Conway Village.
