CONWAY — The spirit of giving shone brightly this Thanksgiving season as local volunteers and donors from the White Mountain Board of Realtors successfully reached and exceeded their goals for the annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive. This heartwarming initiative, fund raising side was spearheaded by the WMBR Community Service Committee led by Bernadette Donahue and Linda Walker and the operations were led by Kelley Ilacqua of Red Door Title and supported by Miriam Habert of Coldwell Banker Lifestyles. This dedicated team and volunteers, ensured that locals in need had good food on their tables for the holiday.
The annual drive set an ambitious goal of compiling 30 full baskets for local distribution, raising $500 for the VFW in Ossipee, and providing cash donations to all six local food banks. Thanks to the generosity of the community Realtors and the dedication of the volunteers, these goals were met and surpassed.
