CONWAY —Since the Aug. 19 cover story on the residential real estate boom in the Mount Washington Valley, comments from several more local Realtors have weighed on whether prices in the region have fully bounced back from the national meltdown of 2008.

The consensus was that local residential inventory is low; prices are slowly returning to pre-meltdown levels; multiple offers are becoming commonplace; but land sales have lagged as the replacement cost to build a new house exceeds that of existing homes.
