It is a pleasure to do a hike I haven't done before, and especially if it has outstanding views. This week I hiked up Jennings Peak (3,460 feet), a subsidiary peak of Sandwich Dome on the Waterville Valley side. It is on the hiking list called "52 With a View."

My hiking buddy, the artist Bob Gordon of Conway is slowly doing the list over a few years. His priority is the pleasure derived from the hikes, so he goes on outstanding days. This Wednesday was one. I went along.
