It was fitting to see the Sun’s annual fall foliage pictures taken by managing editor Margaret Mackenzie. They make it easy to see the contrast with the wonderful fall foliage we had this year, arguably the best since 2015.

Going through the fishing pictures on the iPhone for this past trout season the same could be said. It was arguably the best season in almost a decade. A totally different season than 10 years ago, but with higher highs and fewer lows than recent seasons.
