To the editor:Why is no one asking the obvious questions about Dean's post Iowa caucus speech? Howard Dean just came off a bitter loss in Iowa, being bumped to third in the caucus results; he had been speaking for hours, as had all the candidates; he obviously had a touch of laryngitis, as Kerry had and Dean was just trying to rally the troops. He was spurring his supporters on to fight the good fight. He's angry, so what? I'm angry at this joke of an administration. All the Dems are angry, in fact people of all parties are angry at the true state of the union. Dean is passionate about taking back the White House and he showed that in Iowa on Monday. He let his supporters everywhere know that he has no intention of giving up after Iowa; that he would take his battle for the White House to New Hampshire and beyond. Howard Dean also has a sense of humor, which most of the media seems to miss. So the big questions are these: Why is the media freaking out? Why is the media putting such a bad spin on Howard Dean's Monday night speech in Iowa? I am part of the media and I got a kick out of Dean on Monday night. In fact I'm endorsing Dean. Didn't anyone see him smiling?
