During a presentation to the Conway selectmen this week, Tim Quint proposed the creation of a dog park where dogs could run off-leash. Quint noted that 874 dogs are currently registered in Conway and argued that a dedicated park would be a valuable community asset, helping to ease the growing tension in public spaces like Davis Park. He envisions a park 300 feet by 100 feet in size, with an estimated cost of $10,000. Town officials expressed support for the idea, encouraging Quint to continue developing his proposal.

This week’s Tele-Talk question is: Do you think a town-funded dog park is a good idea and where do you think it should be?
