The before and after-school program, Project SUCCEED, last year served 170 students in the three Conway primary schools. School board member Mike DiGregorio has long championed expanding the program to the middle school, arguing it is important that kids at that impressionable age need healthy, after-school alternatives. He considers it a “priority.” Project SUCCEED Program Director Tim Neugebauer, however, reported to the school board that a survey exploring interest in it was returned by only 39 out of 309 families.

This week’s TeleTalk question is: Do you think expanding Project SUCCEED to the middle school is a good idea?
