At the July 13 Conway Planning Board meeting, James DeMonico, owner of Hooligans Restaurant located at 21 Kearsarge Road in North Conway, complained that three food trucks that set up across the street from him are taking business away. Planning Board Chair Ben Colbath responded, "This is no different than if a restaurant set up there ... it's capitalism." DeMonico then raised the point that he pays town taxes and the food trucks don't. He asked why the town couldn't dedicate an area specifically for food trucks.

This week’s Tele-Talk question: Do you support a "food truck zone" in town, and where should it be?
