Thirty-eight people responded to this week’s Tele-Talk question: “What do you think of the results of this election?” Twenty-eight of them said they were happy with the election results; 10 said they were unhappy of fearful because of the results. Six people said the Electoral College needs to be reformed; two said it is working fine. Five people said people should accept the results and move forward rather than demonstrating against them.

This is Linda in North Conway. Unfortunately we have the wrong president but we will have to cope. He’s going to appoint Newt Gingrich to some ridiculously high post — a guy who deserted his wife when she had cancer. And there goes the environment, among other things. Let’s just hope we survive the next four years; it’ll be tough.
