To the editor:About a week ago our 11-year-old Great Dane had a senior moment and wandered away at dusk on a very cold night. We searched and put out notices, but had given him up as gone. We were truly blessed to find him at Fryeburg Vet where he had been taken by a dear soul who found and took him up. Our thanks go to this good person who took the time and made the effort to pick up Gis. Gis is arthritic and not easy to get into a car. This person did not leave their name, but we wanted to acknowledge their kindness. In this time of so much bad news it is heartening to share good news. This act of kindness will be returned again and again.
