To the editor:In the March 8 issue, The Daily Sun had the opportunity, as it often does, to prove that good journalism prints both sides of a story. This time, however, motivated me to write this note of admiration for the editor. New Hampshire is a mainly religious and somewhat conservative state. The article "The greatest story ever sold" by William Marvel reflects a completely different point of view to mainstream thinking. I believe we have to thank this writer also. You may agree or disagree with the form or the depth of his writing, but if you think about his independent point of view, the reader has a better chance of seeing the reality in perspective and find a solid philosophical ground to evaluate the intelligent brainwashing to which we all have been induced to by the makers of "The passion of Christ". The article could be somewhat offensive to Christians, which must compose the largest segment of the paper readers, but the reality is that everyone is free to interpret it and thus, make a balanced judgement. By being such a good journalist, you are contributing to the betterment of all of us. Thank you.
