To the editor:

As some of you know, I work in a grocery store. I have been working in a grocery since 1974 and, other than the gas crisis in the 1970s, I have never seen such anxiety in customers. People are laid off, worry they may catch the COVID-19, have their children at home and worry about the economy. I get it. I worry, too.
